The Compassionate Reset
3 sessions of deep work
Name it, understand it, and get a plan to move forwards that feels great.
Best for: a specific block, moment or challenge you want to overcome
Your patterns aren’t problems to fix. They’re protections to understand.
Psychology-led coaching designed for female founders like you.

As women we’ve had a lifetime of being told we’re too much or not enough – shrinking to fit in, or having to work twice as hard to be taken seriously.
These behaviours become part of a nervous system pattern that keeps us safe, but it can leave us playing small.
When you understand these unconscious patterns and treat them with compassion instead of trying to override them – you can change your work, your habits, and your life.
Meet Dr Mel
I’ve spent over twenty years as a clinical psychologist, working with people through the most difficult experiences of their lives.
Now I use my clinical experience to help women in business who know they are capable of more. Having spent the last decade as a founder myself, I understand the overwhelm and frustration that comes from wanting to grow, progress and succeed – but feeling like there’s always something in the way.
You already have everything you need inside you. You just need to see it.

Conventional business coaching can feel good in the moment, but it doesn’t address the root behaviours that hold us back.
This is work that will help you understand yourself at your core – and change your approach for life.
Working together
3 sessions of deep work
Name it, understand it, and get a plan to move forwards that feels great.
Best for: a specific block, moment or challenge you want to overcome
My signature 6-month programme
Get to the root of what’s running your internal system and move from frustrated to free.
Best for: those seeking lasting change
I’ve gained so much from our work together. I’ve had so many ‘a-ha’ moments that I’ve lost count!
I never thought I would feel this good about myself; that I would feel so calm, or so ready for the next chapter.
Mel has given me tools I genuinely believe I will carry for the rest of my life.
My coaching is informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS) – an evidence-based clinical approach.
The patterns that are keeping you stuck live in your body – in parts of you that learned, long before this business, how to keep you safe.
On air
Since 2021, clinical and business podcasts have invited Mel on to explain the models she works with. Nothing here is marketing — it’s her, at length, being questioned by people who know the subject.
Most recent · The Female CEO™ Podcast
with Mark Sephton ·
The clearest hour on what this work actually is. Mel walks through Internal Family Systems and its central claim — that there are no bad parts. The inner critic, the perfectionist, the part that goes quiet in the wrong room: each one is protecting something. She also talks about shame, and about building Freeing Female Founders in the gap between therapy and coaching.

Mel and Bridger Falkenstein on Somatic Integration & Processing — a model for pulling the mind–body connection and the multiplicity of selves into one treatment plan.
